★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A restored Light Fortifications Complex with guided tours and a chance to shoot a 1930s machine gun over weekends and daily over summer. You can explore the forest and signs for free, look inside the bunkers for a fee.
Enjoy the pleasant walk through a typical Bohemian Canada forest and learn something about the pre- World War 2 fortifications.
A Fairy Tale Track leads close by - if you are travelling with children it is a nice 30 minute loop track.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our party was lucky to have a guide who was fluent in English. The signage available is in Czech. The history of these bunkers, built to protect Czechoslovakia from Hitler's expanding empire, is fascinating. Some of the bunkers can be entered. Such a tiny space for three men.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An interesting set of bunkers, anti-tank obstacles, and weapons from the period between the 2 world wars. The Czechs never used them-- they were given to Hitler in the shameful Munich accord. Visiting there involves a very pleasant walk in a pine forest, and you can also visit a small nearby lake.
