★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prodavačka je blondýnka s prodlouženými řasami, velmi nepřátelská. Slušně jsem jí řekl: Dvě balení cigaret, prosím. Řekl jsem to česky a slušně. Neslyšela, že potřebuji dvě balení a začala mi vyčítat, že mám mluvit česky. Snad jsem si popletl konce a místo dvě jsem řekl dvi. Podívejte, ve vašem městě máte hodně turistů a pokud budou všichni prodejci drzí a kárají cizince za to, že neumí česky, prestiž města to nezvedne. Pokud mají vaši prodejci špatnou náladu nebo život, není to chyba kupujících. Obecně platí, že prodejci musí umět anglicky nebo jiný jazyk, ale nikdo jim nenařizuje, jaký jazyk potřebují umět.

She didn't hear that I needed two packs and she started blaming me for speaking Czech. Maybe I confused the ends and instead of two I said two. Look, you have a lot of tourists in your city, and if all the sellers are brazen and reprimanding foreigners for not speaking Czech, the prestige of the city will not work. If your sellers are in a bad mood or life, it's not the buyers' fault. In general, salespeople need to know English or another language, but no one tells them what language they need to know.
