★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ohromne krásna vonkajšia výzdoba. Jedinečný renesančný dom je zdobený sgrafitom vznikol po požiari Mikulova v roku 1561 spojením niekoľkých gotických domov. Pôvodne bol dvojposchodový . Nadstavba bez sgrafita pochádza až z 19.storočia . Sgrafito znázorňuje výjavy zo súčasného života a zo Starého zákona. Pozoruhodné je tiež arkádové stĺporadie na dvore.
Sgrafito je technika omietkovej úpravy povrchov stavieb, ktorá vznikla a prekonala najväčší rozkvet v období renesancie . Princíp spočíva v nanesení dvoch (výnimočne viac) rôznofarebných vrstiev omietky, pričom časti hornej vrstvy sa rytím odstráni tak, že kontrastujúca spodná vrstva potom tvorí požadovanú dekoráciu vonkajšie fasády, prípadne i stien interiérov stavieb. Obľúbená bola sgrafitá v novorenesančnej architektúre.
Incredibly beautiful exterior decoration. The unique Renaissance house is decorated with sgraffito, created after the fire of Mikulov in 1561 by combining several Gothic houses. It was originally two-story. The superstructure without sgraffito dates back to the 19th century. Sgrafitto depicts scenes from contemporary life and the Old Testament. Also noteworthy is the arcaded colonnade in the courtyard.
Sgrafito is a technique for plastering the surfaces of buildings, which was created and overcame the greatest prosperity during the Renaissance. The principle consists in applying two (exceptionally more) different colored layers of plaster, while parts of the upper layer are removed by engraving so that the contrasting lower layer then forms the desired decoration of the exterior facade or walls of building interiors. Sgraffito in Neo-Renaissance architecture was popular.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Najbardziej oryginalnie zdobiona kamienica przy głównym placu Mikulova. Parter pochodzi z 1591 r., zaś jego elewacja przedstawia biblijne sceny, które naniesiono w XVII w. Piętro dobudowano w XIX w. Wewnątrz kamienicy można zobaczyć piękne arkady.
The most originally decorated tenement house at the main square of Mikulov. The ground floor is from 1591, and its elevation presents biblical scenes that were laid in the 17th century. The first floor was added in the 19th century. Inside, you can see beautiful arcades inside the building.
