★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have been to HM Steak restaurant three during our week in Lipno and have enjoyed it every time. HM is more upmarket that the other restaurants in the village, the price reflects this but is in no way an issue considering the standard of the food, drink and the service. I dont know where they find all the hipsters that work here, but they are awesome, helpful and friendly. A extra star has to go for my favourite Czech beer Kamenice nap Lipou (11 degrees) ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prices for German tourits with a lot of cash? A decent restaurant with cosy interier and nice friendly staff. A wide variety of steaks, pizza (and somewhat smaller piseta with the same price tag as full size pizza) and pasta. They have clean toilets, outdoor seating and pizza oven decorates the inner part. Given the location and no high hopes, I would normally give four stars. And here come the unreasonably high prices that are even higher than in some posh restaurants in Prague and Brno. I almost never complain about prices, having the experience in the food business I know that good ingrediences cost something. However, this is not the case, the food is good and tasteful but just normal, the staff is not any better than in other restaurants around. And an absolute fail is that I cannot pay my CZK980 steak with a credit card. Only cash. And the weakest side of the meal were fries that seem to be the cheapest ones. Restaurants in this price level typically make their own fries of real potatoes and do not use deep frozen pre-fried stuff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had dinner here last week and we enjoyed it very much. We had pizza bread and soup with liver as an appetizer and pizza, a burger and spareribs as a main. A good place to go when you’re in Lipno nad vltavou on vacation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to sit in the city. Can not say about food quality because I order only kids food and pizza. They all were ok. Chocolate cake I would expect warm. I am sorry for this but service is very slow. Thank you
