Miluji hokej, vždy stojím v kotli a fandím o sto šest :) pro mě je to super relax, odreagování :) Although we have a ice rink we have, I do not mind, it already belongs to our city. I love hockey, I always stand in the boiler and I support for one hundred and six :) for me it's cool relax, relax :)

Kromě hokejových zápasů zde bývá i Memoriál Pavla Romana - krasobruslení. Sourozenci Romanovi zde žili a trénovali. Na stadionu bývají i různé koncerty například Alexandrovci. Snad by tomu mohlo napomoci budoucí rekonstrukce haly, které se snad fanoušci dočkají v nadcházejících 4 letech. Tým je spíše laděn defenzivně, dobré duo golmanů a spolehliví beci, v útoku žádní vyložení střelci, ale je to celek jako jeden tým a to by na úspěch rozhodně stačit mohlo! Zimní stadion má momentálně kapscitu něco málo přes 5000 lidí. To je hrubě pod průměr extraligových stadionů, natožtak stadionů na mezinárodní úrovni jako je v Ostravě a v Praze. Olomouc by díky svému postavení na mapě mohla hostit MS v ledním hokeji, jen ten stadion na to není. Sliby z Olomouckého zastupitelství se už táhnou roky, zatím ale nepřišel razantní krok se vrhnout do takové investice. Pro rozvoj hokeje by určitě prospělo dát zimnímu stadionu novou vizáž. Vždyť stadion v Olomouci patří (aspoň exteriérem) mezi nejhorší stadiony v České Republice. Mládež by rovněž potřebovala treninkovou halu, která byla kdysi vedle stadionu, kde jsou dodnes nevyužité prostory. Since 1993, Olomouc has not touched the title of Czech Ice Hockey Champion.
