HEAD English hair salon and barbers

Hi today I went for the first and last time to Head english hair salon recomended by a friend of mine and I think the guy was not really professional. I asked him to cut me a sharp straight bob but this is the result. at the time being I thought there was something not really correct about the cut and maybe it needed to be more thiner and tried to tell him but he was convinced that it's not gonna help. when I came home finally I could see it clearly. you could see that it was not straight at all, in fact you could see mountains next to each other. this isn't the first time I'm cutting my hair like this, but never had this experience. my friend, who recommended to go there, she paid 700 corons cutting her hair and at the end he asked me for 1100.. honestly is this worth? also they wanted the money cash which wasn't told to me in advance, so I needed to go outside again and get some cash. if it was worth it I wouldn't mind, but this is insane! He was just a nice guy, but I will not go there again

I have been visiting this salon for several years and never had any issues. Anastasia is very professional, she definitely knows, what my hair needs ?

I had the most amazing pleasure of having Natalia as my hairdresser! She was really professional, communicative, and the result was amazing. I was traveling through Prague and she arranged me a booking right away.

I did some highlights here and also cut my bangs a little. The overall experience was ok but not as good as i hoped. I booked my time with one of the hair stylists that had the most and best reviews here on google, but when i got to the salon there was another hairstylist who said she was gonna do my hair. I thought this was very strange as i had not recieved any information that the girl i was supposed to go to was sick (or where she was), nor did i get the chance to re-schedule for when she was free, instead they just changed hairstylist. For me this is really odd and not something we would do where i’m from. If i book an appointment with a specific person then i obviously want it to be that person who takes care of me. There was nothing wrong with the hairstylist that i was changed to though. She was very nice and pleasant to talk to. I also did my brows which i was very happy about. The only thing that disturb me or made me give three stars instead of five was that incident.

One of the best cuts I had was with Natalia. Professional, active listening and friendly. Great English. My husband had a great cut by Luboš. Go there if you want to be pampered while in Prague :)

I was looking for an English-speaking hairdresser in Prague and this place ended up being just the right place to go. I had my cut done by Anastasiya and the results got me highly satisfied! Great service and professionalism when it comes to hair, recommended.

The haircut was fine but the styling was poor, and I was scammed on price at the end. I went to Natalia for a trim and a blow dry. The trim was good - she listened to what I needed (not taking off too much length) and didn’t do big layers considering my curly hair. She then started to blow dry (no heat protectant product was used), but didn’t seems to know how to blow dry curly hair (where it gains lots of volume as it gets brushed out). So she suggested flat ironing without telling me it cost more to flat iron. She then proceeded to flat iron (still no heat protectant product in my hair), but even then couldn’t get it properly straight and not frizzy. At this point I’m running late to my next appointment (due to some misunderstanding between Natalia and another stylist about who was doing my hair and a few interruptions by some other clients during my cut), so I said”fine, good enough.” I then go to pay and I’m told it’s an additional charge for flat ironing (which I didn’t want to do - I had originally just asked for blow dry as that’s what I always do - but I agreed to flat iron because Natalia couldn’t blow dry my hair effectively) which I was not advised of before. Had I known it would be an additional $10 for a lacklustre flat iron job, I could have gone back to my hotel and done it myself. I’m also told (at the end) that I cannot pay by card, only cash. Overall not a great experience. I’m now going back to my hotel to style my own hair, since I can’t go to my appointment with my hair this frizzy. Can’t recommend this salon, unfortunately, though the team was polite and the trim was good.
