The history of the railway in Horažďovice is connected with two important projects from the second half of the 19th century. The first is the former railway of Emperor Franz Josef from Vienna to Prague and Cheb leading through the Horažďovice suburb (in operation since 1868), the second is the so-called Czech-Moravian transversal railway connecting important settlements in Bohemia, Moravia and Slovakia - it leads directly through the city. The Horažďovice suburb station is 3 km away from the town, and the railway station itself was built near the town for another 20 years. There is a public car park and a regular bus stop near the beautifully renovated station. Public parking and a regular bus stop are nearby the beautifully renovated station house.

Available el. bus and train departure panels. Trains in the direction of Sušice and Klatovy (transfer Ž. Ruda, Domažlice, Plzeň) and Horažďovice suburb (transfer Plzeň / České Budějovice). Regional buses and a few long-distance buses (Prague).

Do not exceed expectations, warmth, overall and cleanness, but you will not get to the toilet.
