Horní vchod zoo Ústí nad Labem - Unnamed Road

Good trip, lots of animals to see. Visited in September, few people. For that price a nice trip, I spent more than 3 hours there. Lots of fun for children, there are also enough animals. Some were hiding, but it's not the zoo's fault. I've seen cheetahs, alligators, spiders, fish, snakes, lots of monkeys, spiders, bears, tigers, lions ... I recommend starting from the top entrance and going down :) Too bad some closed shops.

I will attribute it to the season that has not yet begun. There were fewer animals than one used to from other zoos, but the walk was nice and the children liked it

Although I'm Ústí nad Labem, I was here after a few years. I went through the upper entrance, where I almost broke my leg on the crazy broken concrete on the way. The zoo is facing existential problems, its accreditation for elephant breeding is being taken away, and overall it can be seen in the details that the management and staff are only there for the money, not to make it a pleasant place. Lots of unmaintained places where you can easily cut through branches, shrubs, etc. Dinosaurs miss you nowhere, the central sidewalk closed, legendary slides nowhere. But not to be negative, there are also new pavilions, such as the place of minigolf under the upper restaurant, changes around the reptile pavilion, children's corners, small playgrounds. The wall penguins have a beautiful paddock including a mega pool. If you have never been here, you will probably be satisfied, the zoo is untraditionally on a hill (steep hill), it looks nice to a new visitor and in fact it is nice. However, as a home-grown visitor, remembering 35 years ago, I am disappointed.
