Long wait while fasting, little information of what is going on. Staff not speaking English and being close to rude. If this is the reality of hospitals, it surely needs improvement.

Went to the emergency service, staff barely speak English. They concluded to a broken leg and installed a plaster on. After having translated the doctor's report as long as a post-it note, it's written to put ice if it hurts...on a plaster... I think everything is said. I could write way more about this experience, but I already gave more details than the doctor did.

What a great hospital with great staffs. I had to call the ambulance because i was fainting continuously. I went there they didn’t let me wait for a long(8-10 minutes) and they all were super nice they did all the tests covid, X-ray, ECG etc… everything was pretty fast special shout-out to the staffs ?

Very nice doctor and nurses, I came for a sprained foot and they were all very nice and took good care of me. Also, they spoke English. I showed my European health insurance card and didn't have to pay anything.

This is the worst hospital I ever saw. We were directed there after my girlfriend (not European) broke a finger (not a small injury she actually needs surgery). The receptionist asked for her ID that we didn't have on us (we don't go pick up an ID when there is an emergency) and refused to get her treated. She made racist/nationalist remarks "here we are in Czech Republic", "you should speak Czech" and answering in Czech despite perfectly speaking English and even closing her curtain. I had to tell her that I will not move from there until she gets treated or the police come, ask for help from a doctor and call the emergency services again to get her treated. Looking at the other comments, it looks like it is not an isolated case and that there are some (she also had another staff member not speaking English supporting her) racist/nationalist reception staff. And this is not just about remarks, it's about refusing treatment. I will also contact the hospital direction as I believe this behaviour is not acceptable from a health professional and that everyone, no matter their color, language or documents they have on them deserves to be treated in case of emergency.

Medieval at best…quite disgusting looking inside and the attitude of the hospital staff matches the looks of the facilities. UPDATE: not only was it a horrible experience that night, but I have been in excruciating pain for some days, because went with crushed fingertip (in a door) clearly described to the doctor what happened yet he just stitched it, never took an X-Ray, so ended up in ER again 5 days later with a septic finger, infection was spreading, and bone was broken so it had to be operated again. Truly horrific experience and clearly the doctor, staff in this place are devoid of any soul or compassion, leave alone ZERO competence. Shame on you for wearing a white coat and calling yourself doctors, should go work for a meatpacking plant instead! I am seriously considering pressing charges for negligence but I think the way bureaucracy works in this country it will be a huge stress with little benefit. If you read this and are on your way to this particular hospital, turn back and go elsewhere!!!

I am writing to warn everyone about the nurse at the emergency reception, some blonde middle aged woman who is clearly ill mannered and obviously hates her job. She made zero effort to communicate with me and even when I did use Google translate she huffed and puffed and then told me to just go to the pharmacy and get aspirin without even asking me what was wrong. I live in Prague and never had a problem with any clinics or hospitals. But she raised her voice at me, was cold from the very moment I rang the bell and she removed the blue curtain at the window. I actually felt her hate towards me when all I wanted, was to be treated as a sick person. I just wanted help. She needs to get fired and from what I have read on the other reviews, she should not be the one to receive patients. Maybe give her a job in cleaning toilets or changing diapers from old patients for a month or two. That will get her to appreciate her job more. Or maybe it's the perfect job for a person like her. I should have filmed it and posted it to share with the community to show what a lack of respect, education and empathy she can have with someone who is sickly and in need of help. I might just pass by with a friend of mine who is in position to review hospitals and show her the level of incompetence that this receptionist demonstrates.

I had a top notch experience. The staff was friendly, professional, timely, expert. I wish all of my health care experiences were this positive and competent. I came in due to testing positive for covid…everyone from reception staff to registration to tech, nurses and physicians provided highly competent, patient friendly, caring care. Being from out of town, there is always a concern about quality of care. This was never the case here. Thank you!
