★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Malé městečko. V podhůří Krkonoš. Místo konání letní akce Porcinkule vždy začátkem srpna. Mají zde nový autobusový terminál a vlakovou zastávku ve centru města za náměstím. Dobrá dopravní dostupnost.
 A small town. In the foothills of the Giant Mountains. The venue for the Porcinkule summer event is always at the beginning of August. They have a new bus terminal and a train station in the city center behind the square. Good transport accessibility.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hostinné je pěkné městečko v Podkrkonoší. Jediné co mne zarazilo je to, že v sobotu v poledne není na náměstí otevřen hotel kde byste se mohli najíst. Jinak radnice je pěkná a náměstí také. Naštěstí v informačním středisku nám ochotná slečna poradila kam máme jet na oběd.
Hostinné is a nice town in the Giant Mountains. The only thing that struck me is that Saturday noon is not open on the square where you can eat. Otherwise the town hall is nice and the square also. Fortunately, in the information center, a willing lady advised us where to go for lunch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Je vidět že se Vedení města snaží dát Hostinné do pořádku a to ( z gruntu) počínaje plynovodem vodou a elektřinou tak přes demolici starých schatralych objektu. Renovace DLOUHO nevyužívaných a velice zničených pozemků a budov za dlouhé roky. Vše chce čas Moře peněz a a a hlavně OBROVSKÉ ÚSILÍ-TO OPRAVDU VEDENÍ MĚSTA MÁ za mě obrovský ? nahoru.... Věřím tomu že se vše podaří a bude to krásné a vše plně funkční. Už teď vřele doporučuji navštívit

Renovation of LONG unused and very destroyed land and buildings over many years. Everything wants time A sea of money and and especially a HUGE EFFORT - IT REALLY LEADS THE CITY HAS HEAVY FOR ME obrov up .... I believe that everything will work out and it will be beautiful and all fully functional. I highly recommend a visit already

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Radnice (postavená po roce 1525) s věží je pěkná. Zvlášť působivé jsou dvě mohutné sochy, nazývané také "Rolandi". Prý to bývali obři, jenže současně i loupežníci. Trvalo dlouho, než se místním podařilo nad nimi zvítězit... Jako symboly moci české královny a císařovny je nechala na městský znak přidat Marie Terezie svým rozhodnutím z 20. června 1759.
The town hall (built after 1525) with the tower is nice. Especially impressive are two massive statues, also called "Rolandi". It was said to be giants, but also robbers. It took a long time for the locals to win over them ... As a symbol of the power of the Czech queen and empress, she had them added to the coat of arms of Maria Theresa by her decision of 20 June 1759.
