Right next to the stop there is an information panel of the nature trail of the history of Hostivař, which immediately enticed me on a trip to these interesting and ancient places, connected with the beginnings of Czech state. The first written mention of Hostivař is given in the Cosmos Chronicle and dates back to 1068, when an army of Prince Vratislav II's brothers camped near the village. At the beginning of the 12th century, the village belonged to Bishop Hroznata. According to the Monk of Sázava, one of Kosma's successors, Hostivař and all its accessories were donated in 1132 by the pious Přibyslava, the widow of Bishop Hroznata, to the hospital of the Sázava Monastery. The report about the Hostivař fortress dates from 1364.
