Nice staff, quiet quarter and location (tram and bus stations are 200 m away, nice park nearby and a Lidl shop just 800 m away). Staff is ready to help and trust you - they give a night entrance key to every guest. They speak Czech, English and Russian and provide transfer to/from the airport. The rooms on the 3rd floor are 2 stars of 5 by quality, then we moved to 4th floor and it's much better here. There's a lift. Sometimes the furniture is cheap, there may be black spots in the washroom. However, we've stayed 5 nights in the end of the season (October) and enjoyed owner's hospitality. Would recommend to those with price priority or those seeking a quiet place in the heart of the big city.

Unfriendly staff, dirty/outdated bathroom, bring your own toiletpaper (had to ask for it)

Pretty good place, 20 minutes from center. I loved the bath. What i did not like is that there are no power outlets that would be not under table or close to the floor. Beds are okay. 3* hotel, do not expect more.

Booked the hotel in advance through booking.com. On the day of the reservation i went to the hotel and they told me they have no rooms available because they made a mistake in the booking system. They also said that as an apology they will not charge me for the room which i didn’t even used. Left completely on my own to find a different accommodation. Totally do not recommend.

I just came back from Prague and now writing this review! Truly speaking i expected more for the price. It was just ok. We were group of 7 and took 3 rooms. Rooms were fine. Some had kettle, others had glasses. Washrooms can say were clean but too small. Just hand shower in our washroom was working, the shower nob was broken, hence could only use hand shower. Kettle was too dirty. Breakfast was just ok. I have been to Prague before, but this was a comparatively uncomfortable stay. The wifi was not working. Lastly, for the first time any European hotel asked for money to keep the luggage in luggage room @12€ per bag. Also, asked for deposit for the stay even when we had already fully paid our booking in advance. Later after questioning, they did not take advance and said to keep the rooms clean without any damage. I would surely not prefer this place for my next stay.

9th October 2021 - We had booked 3 rooms (1 quadraple room, 1single room,1 double room) for 7 persons for a night. Initially when we booked there were lot of bad reviews on cleanliness. But still we booked as it was cheap and pretty near to city centre. To my surprise the staff were friendly theres a guy who spoke English and the rooms were pretty clean including the blankets. The breakfast was okay for the price we had paid. The only downside was one of the bathroom was not as clean as others and not so vegetarian or vegan friendly breakfast. But still worth the money as it was pretty cheap. Overall satisfied with Aladin hotel.

Do not book over Booking.com. As other people already said in their reviews the Hotel did not have a reservation, despite the fact that Booking.com had received the payment and send us a booking confirmation. The receptionist speaks very poor English and doesn't even understand some questions. He also told us that there is no manager who we could speak to. Because the Hotel was booked full we were not able to stay there. We just used the toilet next to the reception which was very dirty and had a very strong urine smell.

The worst hotel experience ever! We tried to make the check-in but the woman in the reception didn’t speak English. When I told her I didn’t understand her language she became VERY AGGRESSIVE SHOUTING, making signs pointing to a peace of paper what I could conclude that we should have to come back more than one hour later when someone who speaks English would be there. Even with this unpleasant lady yelling in her language and making language signs we tried to continue the check-in but when we gave our credit card for payment she refused because they ONLY ACCEPT CASH!!! How is it possible that in 2021/22 a HOTEL in a extremely tourist city as Prague only accept cash and the staff don’t speak English??? After a walk to the closest atm and back with cash and waited for the English speaking person. The young man showed up and started to act as translator between us and the unpleasant lady and we could finally finish the check in. Luckily I was there for just one night but It was without a doubt the worst customer service I have ever received at a hotel. I was never treated in such DISRESPECTFUL way in a hotel in my life. To wrap this up, the squeaky bed, the broken shower holder, the lack of shampoo, and not even a glass to drink from made the experience even worse. The hotel is very old and simple but it would be OK if they treat customer respectfully and they have a low price. We paid 154 euros for one night!!! I still can’t believe that this whole thing happened!
