★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pokoje čisté a dobře vybavené, chodby školy vyzdobeny školními pomůckami z 2. pol. 20. století. K zapůjčení byla jízdní kola, která sice nebyla nic moc, ale 65 km kolem Lipna a okolí zvládla dobře. Domácí kuchyně výborná včetně koláčů. Borůvkové knedlíky z kynutého těsta naprosto luxusní! Personál velmi milý a vstřícný.
 Rooms clean and well equipped, school corridors decorated with school supplies from the second half of the 20th century. There were bicycles for rent, which were not much, but they managed 65 km around Lipno and its surroundings well. Home cooking excellent, including cakes. Blueberry dumplings from yeast dough absolutely luxurious! Staff very nice and helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Místo asi pěkné ale to bohužel nezjistíme. Dva dny jsme se pokoušeli do hotelu dovolat. Druhý den poslali SMS s tím že vše řeší pouze přes ně nebo mail. Manželka tedy SMS napsala a bylo jí odpovězeno...Nemám u sebe diář pošlete si mail. Nevím jestli jsme jediní?
Mail jsme už neposlali utratime své peníze jinde.
The place is probably nice, but unfortunately we won't find out. We tried to call the hotel for two days. The next day they sent an SMS stating that everything was solved only through them or by e-mail. So my wife wrote an SMS and she was answered ... I don't have a diary with me. Send me an e-mail. I don't know if we are the only ones?
We did not send the mail, we will spend our money elsewhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hned na začátku se nás ujala milá, ukecaná paní, se kterou byla naprosto boží domluva. Pokojíček velmi příjemné útulný. Ještě jsme si připláceli za vířivku, bylo to moc příjemné.
Určitě se ještě vrátíme. ?
Right at the beginning, we were received by a nice, well-known lady, with whom there was a complete agreement between God. Small room very nice cozy. We still paid extra for the whirlpool, it was very nice.
We will definitely be back. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Úžasné místo a ještě úžasnější personál. Krásné čisté pokoje, terasa, dětský koutek, úžasná domácí kuchyně. Paní je velmi vstřícná a sympatická. Byli jsme zde podruhé a určitě se zase moc rádi vrátíme.
Great place and even more amazing staff. Beautiful clean rooms, terrace, children's corner, amazing home cooking. The lady is very helpful and sympathetic. We were here for the second time and we will definitely be back again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We loved Hotel Stará Škola. The owners did great job converting a school into a hotel. The furnishings could use face lift, but the friendly staff and beautiful surroundings surely make up for any shortcomings. Plus, the food there is delicious and you certainly won't leave hungry!
