Hotel Schindleruv Haj

Today we live a lot of modern life! Šchindlerův Háj is a place where modernization is not necessary for you to feel more relaxed. Personnel will take care of your comfort. The food is prepared with love. They deliver warmly! !

Logistically remarkable: a stone's throw from the city and surrounded by forests. It looks like a fabulous place. There is ample parking and I could leave my bike safely. Beautiful hotel in traditional style that differs from the usual places all the same. Good restaurant where, in addition to traditional Bohemian dishes, I was able to eat a real amatriciana. Another surprise is the Italian coffee expressed like in Rome. A lot of courtesy and availability. The real surprise is the bill: much less than I expected, at least for what I ate and drank. Breakfast is abundant and included in the price of a room that has everything, including a view of the forest. I will return next year with friends bikers.

The most disgusting hotel restaurant I've ever seen. Reserved table for 10 people to celebrate, absolutely unprepared, no aperitif, smoky environment, sweaty Ukrainian as a waiter did not understand us, poured us beer. Food expensive, small portions, unsalted, hard meat. We have not paid for these services.

We had free accommodation here but no place to stay. Suite room was a shock: we are a couple but a bed each separately, everything is heard, whoever spoke in the next room could hear, wilted decaying flower in the room, the TV in the next room and the cleanliness went away ..

I must say for myself that at the time of about 10 years ago it was the best restaurant in SY. Surroundings suitable for families with children and everything hidden in the woods. Then, apparently, by changing the owner, the hotel and restaurant became a house of horror - food horror - the Chinese bistro with cat meat in the square was also better :). BUT ATTENTION --- there is a big CHANGE !!!! My wife and I had the honor here, thanks to our friends, to spend the wedding night (9.9.2017). We arrived at half past one in the morning and calmly got to the room through the side entrance. The room was very nicely prepared (roses, candles, champagne, glasses) - beautiful. In the morning at an excellent continental breakfast, we were pleasantly surprised by the willingness and speed with which the owner served and fulfilled our wishes. She explained to us that she had bought the hotel in poor condition and that the hotel was being renovated (replacement of upholstery, mattresses and other things), and also told us that they were officially opening from October 2017. So you are probably expecting the final evaluation that my wife and I agreed on :) 100% and the title of the quietest and most friendly hotel in Svitavy and its surroundings. We are looking forward to the opening of the restaurant - we will book immediately and come to YOU. I didn't sleep there. But the place looks very nice, tidy. But there were not many guests (few cars in the parking lot).
