★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I spent 2 nights havin Silvester and New Year catering. Food was plentiful, staff friendly (good lokin girls) and helpful. The state of the real estate is a bit communist back in the time :-) outfitted 35 years ago. But showers were refurbished.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed at Hotel Tanečnica for one night in July 2017. If you are looking for a two day trip to do some hiking and to see the Wallachian Outdoor Air Museum this is the perfect place to stay for the price and what is offered.
The pros: free parking, free breakfast, bar and restaurant on site, clean rooms and gorgeous views from our room on the third floor.
The cons: in needs of major renovation throughout the entire place from the rooms, to the hallways to the restaurant. Red carpet, padded doors, old chairs. If you are looking for upgrades, this is not the place for you. As we were just looking for a place to sleep we did not mind.
FYI the receptionist desk closes at 8 so if you decide you don't want to carry around your key make sure you pick it up before 8 or visit the fantastic bartender & order a drink who has it after 8.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very bad place, don't let yourself mislead by the outside signage stating that the daily offer is holandsky rizek and lentil soup for 145 Czk in total. It is not! Instead, they will try to sell you a duck for 230 czk. They sold me simple rum with hot water and told me it is the local speciality called Bacuv grog which is not truth. The food taste and quality was definitely below.average. the atmosphere will remind you of the most negative aspects of communist era. The atmosphere of the place is awful. Avoid it!
