Hotel Volarik

We had a very pleasant stay, the room was clean with AC, we had a balcony view on the bio-lake in the hotel courtyard. Loved the area. Also, dinner was very nice, breakfast full of options. Recommend!

This is a a great hotel , well worth the 5*. I enjoyed every moment of our stay here . Location and parking : It's in a good location maybe 5 minute walk to the town centre of Mikolov . There is free parking at the hotel with a parking pass . Bedrooms : The bedrooms were very nice and modern , exactly how the picture described them . They were very clean and house keeping was good . We also had a nice view of the gardens . Restaurant/food : There are two restaurants in the Hotel , a Czech cuisine and a hotel restaurant. We only ate the Czech cuisine restaurant just outside of the hotel . The food was good and service was nice . It was also a really good price . Breakfast we plentyful and well presented and always well stocked with a large selection of breakfast food . Spa : The spa was very nice , I wish we had time to use it more . Very clean and the pool was nice and a good size . Sauna and steam room were good . We also booked a wine bath and two massages which were equally very good and we enjoyed them . Well worth getting one of these . 5* from me .

It's a lovely hotel, great for a relaxing stay. Big advantage is the indoor pool, so you can dip even during bad weather. Entire hotel is clean and staff was always super friendly no matter the request. One star down for few things - the hotel is bit too pricey for what it offers, breakfast offer never change and the dinner selection is poor (both in terms of the offer and how staff presents it).

The first impression of the hotel was great, the staff on the reception was very friendly, check in was fast. they gave us all the necessary information. We also received our welcome drink (a glass of Prosecco or fresh orange juice) from a nice bartender. The hotel is very modern, clean. We had a Superior room with a view of a garden with a small pond. Room was bigger than it looked on the pictures. Bed was very comfortable. We ate dinners and breakfast at the hotel. All of the personnel were very friendly and professional. Dinners were very special, food was interesting, unusual, healthy but very good. They also brought us fresh baked bread with butter before our starters. Portions were big. We were always full. We also loved the breakfast, there was fresh juice available, there was also hot chocolate. There was a great choice for breakfast: eggs, bacon, vegetables, baked beans, cheese, ham and lot of interesting spreads you could put on your bread or toast. There were also sweet choices, small pies, Nutella, yogurt, cereals, fruit. Wellness was very nice. The pool wasn't too big, but only 2 other people were there, when we were in the pool. For half an hour we even had the pool to ourselves. Were weren't visiting in high season, so maybe this helped. There were also unoccupied sunbeds. I recommend this hotel for a nice weekend. I was surprised how friendly everyone was and we had a great relaxing family weekend. We will definitely return as a couple next time.

We came during evening about 7 p.m. There were no place for dinner in Hotel Restaurant (?). The staff recommend us different place (ok). In the room were cold and the heating did not work well include bathroom (we reported in reception but no change till our departure) and in bathroom missed body milk (refueled next day). The cold room had also one small window... During the night were not possible to sleep because of loud music near our room (we reported in reception but the music was loud until 4 a.m.). During next day we wanted to buy bottle of vine and drink it in our room - official price in price list about 10 EUR but "only last day when we are leaving the hotel", in other case about 20 EUR (not in the restaurant, just take away). Last day, when we paid, the hotel tried to ask us for paying of some bill from dinner (we did not have a dinner in the hotel). We asked for late check-out as a compensation for loud music during the night - we get it for free (but again during check-out they asked us for additional payment so we reminded that it should be for free). From other hand the breakfast were really amazing and the wellness were also very good. The hotel staffs were very helpful and nice but too much things were not so good. In general: - good things - clean accommodation, perfect staffs, very good wellness, amazing breakfast - not good - room feeling (cold, not enough soon shine, lout music during the night), not refueled body milk in bath room, not working heating in bathroom (and also cold in the room in general), no place in restaurant for quests, overpriced bottles of vine, ask for payments for bill from somebody else Best regards, Michal

I recommend this hotel. This is a great hotel that will enjoy a quality spa, outdoor pool, sauna, summer bar. The quality of the rooms is nice, just here I would point out the double beds, which are composed of two parts, do not stick together (please improve - the possibility of fixing to each other together). The gastronomy is excellent, the breakfast was perfect. The wines at the bar are excellent and the service is also very good.
