Pro ty, kterí se sem chtějí vydat autem, lze parkovat hned u hráze za značkou zákaz zastavení ?. Je tam super plac, kde na chvíli nechat auto a i přes zákazovou značku tam parkuje každý. Navíc, když budete mít štěstí je možné se podivat i do útrob prehrady (výročí vody,Vaku a atd. )a jejiho technického zázemí. Těleso hráze je zakotveno do skal, kde na jedné blíže k Seči jsou vidět zbytky hradu Vildštejn a na druhé a vyšší skále se nachází zřícenina hradu Oheb. A place worth a visit perhaps at every dam. Cestou stačí projít/projed tunelem, nad nímž lze zahlédnout torzo hradu Vildštejn a dojít na Oheb, odkud se Vám naskytne nádherná podívaná. Z jedné strany shlédnete do 42 m hluboké propasti, což je ohromující podívaná. A z druhé strany se pokocháte podívanou na ryby, vyhřívající se na prosluněné vodní hladině, tak nezapomeňte do batohu přibalit pečivo :) Jen škoda, že si nelze její konstrukci prohlédnout na vlastní oči. Romantice dodává skála s hradem Vildštejn (zřícenina) a pod ním prokopaný tunel pro silnici, vedoucí po přehradě. Nezapomeňte projít tím tunelem až k mostu, pod kterým vede přepad přehrady. Tato přehrada totiž nemá nouzový přepad na koruně, ale na boční hrázi. Po jarních deštích se žene do údolí obrovská kaskáda vodopádu. V létě je přepad vyschlý. Pokud přijedete k hrázi ráno nebo večer, můžete klidně zastavit na kraji silnice. Pozor zákaz zastavení, ale stojíte mimo komunikaci a provoz už žádný. Ale přes den v sezoně jedině na parkovišti nedaleko domku hrázného. Malá děcka nutné hlídat, protože vozovka na hrázi je úzká a vyhýbající se vozidla jezdí těsně kolem úzkého chodníku. Nice place.
