A strange, unique place ... with a magical, mysterious atmosphere in the middle of the forest ... A few graves are preserved. Everything is ephemeral ... worldly glory - field grass ... and at that point it is really visible .... In the Czech Republic there is no other cemetery in such a state (except Bohnice cemetery, but it is another "level")

One of the interesting places of old Karviná, today completely empty. From the original prosperous colony the only inhabited house and an abandoned, overgrown cemetery remained.

Sad place, it's a pity that only ruins remain of the chapel.

After the mining colony, this Evangelical Cemetery was founded in 1903. Czech Polish and German graves. There is a small chapel (church) unfortunately in poor condition. A mysterious place. Definitely worth a visit.

I learned about the evangelical cemetery in Karviná - Doly while browsing interesting places on my mobile phone. Little did I know that such a cemetery existed at all, when all the houses in the Mexico and New York colonies had long since been demolished due to mining damage. But on the author's reading from the book The Leaning Church of Karin Lednice, people who have been putting the cemetery together for a few years spoke so that people could go there and not have to worry that something would fall on them or that they would fall into an uncovered grave. So we went there, other than to Dušičky. I haven't seen such a place for a long time, there is such peace there, a lot of tombstones have legible inscriptions, it's beautifully cut there. And that atmosphere, I like old cemeteries and I really like reading names on tombstones, and I don't know how I'm closer to those people, even though I know it's not possible. I really like that cemetery in the woods, even though a lot of the tombstones are destroyed. Still, someone probably has their ancestors there, because candles were lit and there were flowers. I'm glad we found the place. And thank you to everyone who takes such good care of him.

A really strange and mysterious place, but you can see that someone still takes care of a few graves and visits the place. It's just a pity that the roof of the chapel in the middle of the cemetery has already collapsed. Definitely this place is worth a visit and a tribute to the memory of the deceased.
