The power plant was built in 1921-1926 according to a project by Emil Kralíček. The drive through the driven mine is 1323 meters long and then leads a stone canal 437 meters long. The building is overhauled and is a testament to the skill of our ancestors, it still serves its purpose. Splendor.

A small hydroelectric power plant was built in 1921 at the confluence of the Jizera and Kamenice rivers. This waterworks has been in operation for over eighty years, surviving the 1950s, when most of the small, not just private sources of electricity were forcibly shut down due to communist ideology. The power plant works all the time without the need for major repairs, as evidenced by the skill of designers and constructors, but also the relationship of power plant employees of all generations to this unique work. Unfortunately, the power plant is not open to the public. Next to it is a hotel and restaurant, where you can find a decent one if you climb the Rieger Trail. The power plant is unfortunately not accessible to the public. There is a hotel and restaurant next to it where you can find a good place if you ride the Rieger's trail.

A nice place to stop not only for lovers of technical monuments on the route when wandering the Rieger Trail. A short walk and a restaurant with snacks.

Spalov's small hydroelectric power plant is built in the Art Deco architectural style, which is quite unique in itself. It is possible to view the interior, but this requires prior telephone arrangement. Pay attention to the beautiful original Chaplain turbine with generator, which is exposed down the front of the main building.
