★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ledová jáma je vskutku ledová. Když scházíte dolů po schodech, citelně se každým krokem ochlazuje okolní vzduch.
Ačkoliv po staletí tu prý býval led a sníh celoročně, poslední dobou ho v druhé polovině léta už nenajdete. Byli jsme tu v půli června a je ho dost, snad i díky letošní zimě s nadprůměrně bohatou sněhovou nadílkou.
 The ice pit is really icy. As you descend the stairs, the surrounding air cools significantly with each step.
Although ice and snow have been used here all year round for centuries, lately you will not find it in the second half of the summer. We were here in mid-June and there is enough of it, perhaps also thanks to this winter with an above-average rich amount of snow.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Zabloudili jsme na toto místo náhodou. Kdysi jsem slyšel o vlčí a ledové jámě. Bylo vedro, kolem 30, po slezení asi 40 schodů klesla teplota asi na 15. Hlouběji se sejít nedalo, ale na dně byl vidět led. Do Vlčích jam je vstup omezený, nelze tam volně vstoupit
We got lost in this place by accident. I used to hear about a wolf and an ice pit. It was hot, around 30, after climbing about 40 steps, the temperature dropped to about 15. It was impossible to meet deeper, but ice was visible at the bottom. Entrance to Vlčí jama is limited, it is not possible to enter it freely

Wonderful place definitely worth going there on a trip alone I'm going there again as the snow descends ....
