★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nový Jičín. Janáčkovy sady. Pro vysvětlení si zajdeme dost hluboko do místní historie. Na místě dnešních sadů býval hřbitov. K němu patřila i kostnice a hřbitovní kaple. Kaple svatého Kříže je zde stále.
A historie už ne tak vzdálená. Během druhé světové války (ale i před ní) bylo město s výrazně převažujícím procentem německého obyvatelstva. Což se po osvobození města převrátilo ve prospěch českých obyvatel. A jelikož bylo nutno změnit i německé názvy (ulic, náměstí), tak naše sady byly pojmenovány po vynikajícím českém hudebním skladateli Leoši Janáčkovi.
Novy Jicin. Janáček's orchards. To explain, we will go deep enough into the local history. There used to be a cemetery on the site of today's orchards. It also included an ossuary and a cemetery chapel. The Chapel of the Holy Cross is still here.
And history is not so distant. During World War II (but also before it) was a city with a significantly predominant percentage of the German population. Which, after the liberation of the city, turned over in favor of the Czech population. And since it was necessary to change the German names (streets, squares), our sets were named after the excellent Czech composer Leoš Janáček.
