- pohodlně se k ní dostanete od centra s radnicí, když u pošty odbočíte směrem na Velký Semerink
- má velký sál, vybavený potřebným atletickým nářadím
- v polovině 50 - tych let u ní byl vybudován fotbalový stadion a vzápětí i hřiště pro házenou
- od 60 tych do poloviny 70 tych let se zde odehrály četné žákovské turnaje v kopané a to i s mezinárodní účastí
- od roku 1976 pořádá SOKOL Janov nad Nisou kombinovaný závod v kategoriích chůze a běhu s názvem Janovských 11 a 19 km ( naposledy memoriál Vráti Zajíčka)
- k sokolovně náleží i turisticka ubytovna
- bez zajímavosti není ani to, že ve zděné přístavbe nalezla své místo hospůdka Sokolka
- asi 60 m od sokolovny je zastávka autobusu MHD, jezdícího k areálu Hrabětice
- Janovská sokolovna was built on the southern hill above the glassworks
- You can easily reach it from the center with the town hall when you turn at the post office towards Velký Semerink
- has a large hall, equipped with the necessary athletic equipment
- In the mid - 1950s, a football stadium was built next to it, followed by a handball court
- from the 60's to the middle of the 70's, numerous student football tournaments took place here, even with international participation
- since 1976 SOKOL Janov nad Nisou has been organizing a combined race in the categories of walking and running called Janovských 11 and 19 km (lastly the Vráti Zajíček memorial)
- The falconry also has a tourist hostel
- It is also interesting that the Sokolka pub has found its place in the brick extension
- about 60 m from the sokolovna is a bus stop, going to the Hrabětice complex

Absolutely amazing place .. Clean and fragrant, as if I were at home .. Beds with amazing mattresses. I got up in the morning and nothing hurt .. ?Kitchen great as with grandma ..
