About Ještěd Tower

Od 21.3.2022 až do odvolání je na trase k odbočce na Ještěd ve směru z Českédho Dubu a z Křižan omezení. Nebude možné projet daným úsekem ve všední dny od rána až do 19 (od 1.dubna pak od 17) hodin. Omezení se částečně týká i soboty. Naopak neděle a večerní čas bude bez omezení.

Doporučujeme všem zvolit trasu směrem od Liberce, kde žádná omezení ve směru na Ještěd nejsou.

S	Sam Budhdev on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good friendly service. Was very busy but there were enough places to sit. Staff speak English and German. Food was good and reasonably priced. We mainly ordered dessert and coffee. Not many vegetarian main options but lots of dessert choices. Nice views from here also.

The restaurant is average, but OK with professional service, which served us quickly and friendly. The pumpkin soup was not what we expected, but the main dishes looked and tasted good. We waited with rating for the coffee, because of former (bad) ratings. But also here no unpleasant surprises. We had a good aromatic espresso. We're looking forward to try the hotel probably this summer.

I think, considering the communist era at the time, it was exceptionally designed outside and inside... Very beautiful for hiking too, you can park your car at the bottom of the hill and hike up through beautiful woods or take the cabin, the oldest cabins in the Czech republic and rent a foot bike to go back from Jested to car park, good fun...very fast ride! Beautiful panorama at the top...of the surrounding mountains...
j	janina .cz on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you can't sleep here, have at least something to bite and check the interiors of Ještěd. Beautiful place, nicely renovated, perfect views (except the times when you're in a cloud, which is often), beautiful nature. You can use funicular to get here.
J	Jere Lehtila on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went to visit here year ago. We were lucky enough to catch an amazing sunset! To reach the tower you have to walk a bit from the parking area. Up there is also a restaurant which we visited. The food and the service was not so good (2,5/5). You should definitely catch the views from here, but not so much to go to eat eat. Would give 5 stars for the lookout point!
P	Peter Nagy on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ještěd is a beautiful place above the town of Liberec, television transmitter, hotel and restaurant with a viewing terrace on all sides to Poland, Germany, the Jizera Mountains, Giant Mountains or Bohemian Paradise. From Horní Hanychov you can either take the Czech Railways cable car or walk through the forest (about an hour away at a brisk pace). The views are really amazing and this place is one of the most popular in the Liberec Region.
K	Kristina Antoninova on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great look out point. There are several trails to get up to the top. We started at parking Jestedka and followed the yellow trail for about 4 km. There are several stops along the way, such as "Stone gate", "Red stones", and the 1948 aircraft wreckage. This is a suitable trail for kids of about 5 years and older. No strolleys. In mid July you can pick blueberries on the way. Weekends, holidays, sunny days, get crowded but still worth the visit.
