Bronzová socha císaře Františka I. oděného do historického korunovačního ornátu českých králů byla slavnostně odhalena 7. června 2002 před Sadovou kavárnou. Jedná se o odlitek originálu, který stál na Smetanově nábřeží v Praze do roku 1918, kdy byl přemístěn do Národního muzea. Františkolázeňská socha byla odlita mistrem Pavlem Horákem ve spolupráci se sochařem Olbramem Zoubkem.
Jezdecká socha Františka I. byla postavena na vysoký sokl na reprezentativní místo v Městských sadech, kde dříve stával Schwanthalerův pomník Františka I., který byl po roce 1989 umístěn na Isabelinu promenádu.
 Let me copy here information about the statue of Francis I. The bronze statue of Emperor Francis I dressed in the historic coronation chasuble of the Czech kings was ceremoniously unveiled on June 7, 2002 in front of Sadova's cafe. It is a cast of the original, which stood on the Smetana embankment in Prague until 1918, when it was moved to the National Museum. The statue of Františkovy Lázně was cast by master Pavel Horák in collaboration with sculptor Olbram Zoubek.
The equestrian statue of Francis I was erected on a high plinth in a representative place in Městské sady, where the Schwanthaler monument to Francis I used to stand, which was placed on Isabella's promenade after 1989.
