★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ウィーンを代表する建築家ヨーゼフ・ホフマンの実家。元はバロック風の建物だったが出世後ホフマンが家族のために改装を施し現在の形になった。ホフマン自身も休暇の折にしばしば滞在し一階の部屋で仕事をしたそうだ。中はホフマンのデザインした食器や調度品など美しいものが沢山展示されている。人も少なめでゆっくりと見て回ることができる。博物館としての規模は小さめでプラハやブルノなどの大都市からも時間が掛かるので万人向けの旅行先とは言い難いが、建築やデザインに興味がある人にはおすすめの場所。
 The parents' home of the architect Josef Hoffmann, who represents Vienna. Originally a Baroque building, Hoffman refurbished it for his family after his career and it is now in its current form. Hoffman himself often stayed on vacation and worked in a room on the first floor. Inside, there are many beautiful items such as tableware and furniture designed by Hoffman. There are few people and you can look around slowly. The scale of the museum is small and it takes time from big cities such as Prague and Brno, so it is hard to say that it is a travel destination for everyone, but it is a recommended place for those who are interested in architecture and design.

Pro mne to byla zastávka na cyklotrase Jihlava-Brtnice-Jihlava. V letním dni, kdy teploty atakovaly 27° odpočinek v tiché a stinné zahradě muzea byl po ušlapaných kilometrech balzámem.
Kladně hodnotím také nadprůměrně dobrou kávu, kterou si můžete dát přímo v zahradě. Která nemá naštěstí naprosto nic společného s běžnými sr*čkami které jsou k mání typicky u benzínových stanic. Bonusem je i možnost placení bezkontaktní kartou, což ještě bohužel není ani zdaleka samozřejmost.
I will not evaluate the museum, nor the life and work of a prominent architect.
For me, it was a stop on the Jihlava-Brtnice-Jihlava cycle route. On a summer day, when the temperatures attacked 27 °, the rest in the quiet and shady garden of the museum was a balm after the trampled kilometers.
I also appreciate the above-average good coffee, which you can have in the garden. Which, fortunately, has absolutely nothing to do with the common fuel that is typically available at gas stations. A bonus is the possibility of paying with a contactless card, which unfortunately is far from a matter of course.
