Kadečkův mlýn - Na Skále

The mill stands on the left bank of the Berounka near the railway bridge over the river. An angled weir was built above the mill, the northern part of the weir is almost parallel to the shore. It is a really old object. The first mention of it comes from the second half of the 14th century, when it was supposed to be "rebuilt". However, more specific information dates back to the 19th century, when the Vošalík family farmed here. They held the mill until 1927, when Mr. Kadečka bought it. In 1923, a hydroelectric power plant with a pair of Francis turbines was built in the mill, supplying electricity for Dolní Mokropsy, Horní Mokropsy and Všenory.
