O existenci osídlení svědčí dnes už jen zarostlé pozůstatky zdí. Osadu pojmenovanou Hutdörfel, podle původního německého výrazu pro pastvinu nebo podle lesní cesty Hutting, která prý vedla mezi Jiříkovem a Veveřím, byste mezi bující vegetací dnes už hledali jen težko. A že zde Kaple sv. Anny, jejíž ruina je nejpatrnějším důkazem existence Hutova, ještě před sto lety shlížela na německé statky se dnes ani nechce věřit.
