Hřbitov a kaple byly postaveny u kostela, ze kterého do dnešních dnů zbyly jen základy. Z obce zbyly jen pozůstatky náhrobků nedaleko základů kostela a zbytky zdí. Je to místo, kde na vás dýchne zaniklá historie Šumavy. Po roce 1945 byla osada vysídlena a vzhledem ke zřízení vojenského prostoru Dobrá Voda postupně zlikvidována. Tomuto osudu ušla pouze kaple, která se využívala jako pozorovatelna. Byla však zcela vydrancována včetně hrobky, přičemž došlo i ke zničení mumifikovaných ostatků z hrobky (rodina Abelů i otec Karla Klostermanna). Po roce 1990 se postupně začala obnovovat, roku 2003 byl osazen zvon smíření, na který lze zazvonit od vstupního portálu. Pietně byly opraveny i zbytky hřbitova a základy kostela sv. Vincence. Zde na vás dýchne atmosféra minulosti. Ideální místo k odpočinku při cestě k Jezeru Laka. Lavičky i s přístřeškem jsou samozřejmostí.
