M	Marek Tichý on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ze Sojovic jedeme kousek po asfaltu, ale hned, jak přejedeme železniční přejezd, máme to další tři kilometry lesem. A vyjedeme u barokního svatého Václava. Z původního komplexu knížecího letohrádku, poustevny, věže s větrným mlýnem a vodometem se do dnešních dnů zachovala pouze výklenková kaple s reliéfem, znázorňujícím zavraždění svatého Václava a dvě sochy andělů – anděla života a anděla smrti. Autor kaple z roku 1696 je neznámý, sochy z pozdějších let jsou pravděpodobně od Matyáše Bernarda Brauna. Umístění kaple u prašné cesty na okraji pustého lesa člověka neznalého překvapí, ale ona prašná cesta bývala kdysi frekventovanou poštovní cestou do Lysé nad Labem. From the original complex of the prince's summer house, hermitage, tower with windmill and water jumper, only a niche chapel with a relief depicting the assassination of St. Wenceslas and two statues of angels - the angel of life and the angel of death - have survived to this day. The author of the chapel from 1696 is unknown, the statues from later years are probably by Matyáš Bernard Braun. The location of the chapel by the dirt road on the edge of a desolate forest will surprise an ignorant person, but the dirt road used to be a busy postal road to Lysá nad Labem.

Pro jinak zaměřené zvídavé jsou zde blízko přírodní rezervace a památky. The works of brilliant Baroque sculptor Matyáš Bernard Braun are scattered around half of Bohemia, but thanks to the hobby of Count Fr. Ant. Sporka also here in Lysa and its surroundings. For otherwise inquisitive, there are nature reserves and monuments nearby.
