The architectural dominant of Masaryk Square in # Slany is the building of the Ethnographic Museum. The museum itself was founded in 1885. Due to the lack of permanent premises, the museum was forced to move from place to place. In 1940, he was transferred to the building of the former college of public relations, which was founded in 1659 by Count Bernard Ignac Jan Martinsky. It should be noted that this was the fifth PR school in the Czech lands. Part of the college was the chapel of the Blessed Virgin Mary, restored in 1997 and which became part of the museum. The altar of the chapel is represented by the painting "The Dream of St. Joseph" (1727), owned by the Italian artist Carloni. Images of saints hang on the walls, as well as a portrait of Count Bernard Ignaz Martinni. During the restoration work of 1997, a rare torso of the early Reboro frescoes was discovered in several places.

The Chapel of the Betrothal of the Virgin Mary in the area of ​​the former Piarist dormitory was founded together with the dormitory in 1659 and consecrated in 1666. After the fire in 1795, a new vaulting of the chapel followed. The interior features a Baroque altar with a painting of The Engagement of the Virgin Mary by the Italian painter C. I. Carlone from 1727 and a sculptural decoration by F. I. Weis. Entry is possible in agreement with the Museum of National History in Slaný, which manages the chapel, or at events such as concerts held in the chapel. The Chapel of the Virgin Mary's Engagement at the site of the former Piarist dormitory was established together with the dormitory in 1659 and consecrated in 1666. Quite a nice space for classical music concerts. I can recommend. But sometimes he would like to at least sweep the floor, otherwise good. The place has a nice atmosphere and the acoustics are also period. I recommend everyone to visit.
