Před radnicí stávala kruhová kašna, osazená sochou bájného zachránce města, Boreše. Jak jsem při rozhovorech s místními pochopil, současné dílo rozděluje místní na fanoušky i radikální odpůrce. Nejčastější argument zněl, že vzhledem k tradici náměstí očekávali obyvatelé spíše kašnu než fontánu. The square had two fountains in the past. Po poslední opravě způsobené vandaly byly doplněny ještě vertikální tyče coby zábradlí.
