The fountain was made in 1938 and the author of "Harvesting of Grapes" Sculpture is Vincenc Makovský. The rectangular ground floor fountain is located in a slightly sloping terrain of the square and consists of two water reservoirs with a mutual overflow of water. The allegorical group consists of three female figures with not very distinct attributes (middle with a vase as a river symbol, one of the outer ones with grapevine), symbolizing the local fertile region at the confluence of the Vltava and the Elbe. The two outer statues sit, the middle knees on the right leg in a dynamic movement with a sloping vase leaning against the left clenched leg. As a result, all characters have the same height. The sandstone sculpture is placed in a rectangular concrete plinth tank - its architecture was designed by the prominent Czech functionalist Jaroslav Fragner.
