Sculpture by sculptor Vincent Makovsky. The fountain is an integral part of the main square.

The fountain was established in 1938 and the author of the Vintage sculpture is Vincenc Makovský. The fountain with a rectangular floor plan is located in the slightly sloping terrain of the square and consists of two pools with a mutual overflow of water. The allegorical group consists of three female figures with not very clear attributes (middle with a vase, a symbol of the river, one of the extreme with a vine), which symbolize the local fertile region at the confluence of the Vltava and Elbe. The two outer ones sit, the middle one kneels on his right leg in dynamic motion with a sloping vase resting on his left crouched leg. As a result, all characters have the same height. The sculpture made of sandstone is placed in a rectangular tank on a concrete plinth - its architecture was designed by the leading Czech functionalist Jaroslav Fragner. The sandstone sculpture is placed in a rectangular concrete plinth tank - its architecture was designed by the prominent Czech functionalist Jaroslav Fragner.
