Great sitting and relaxing in the garden under mature chestnut trees. Beer from Kamenice nad Lipou has an amazing taste. So overall a very enjoyable experience!

I am not a staunch pub regular, but when measures began to loosen up during the coronavirus pandemic, I enjoyed the opportunity to sit in at least the front gardens (the interiors were still inaccessible) without an annoying drapes. One of the first restaurants I visited was the local terrace. I really enjoyed it. Dům U kaštanu was originally an inn, which was probably built at the same time as the Baroque renovation of the Břevnov Monastery and stood on the old road that led from the Strahov Gate to western Bohemia. This popular stop was rebuilt from the Baroque style to the Classicist style at the beginning of the 19th century. The house has also served as the cultural center of Prague 6 since the 1990s.
