Mezi lety 1853–1854 se knihovna dvakrát stěhovala po hostincích na náměstí. V roce 1857 se přestěhovala do Hovorkova domu na náměstí (čp. 162). Zde zústala do roku 1861. Mezi lety 1861–1930 působila v budově radnice a v domě čp. 188. Od roku 1991 se půjčovna pro dospělé přesunula do velkého sálu polikliniky Na Sekyře (budova dnešního okresního úřadu II), ostatní části do nově zrekonstruovaného domu čp. 114 na Husově náměstí. The Municipal Library was inaugurated on February 28, 1841. In 1843 it was moved to the house of the burgher Hanslik. Between 1853-1854 the library moved twice around the pubs in the square. In 1857 it moved to Hovork's house on the square (No. 162). Here it lasted until 1861. Between 1861-1930 it was operating in the building of the Town Hall and in the house No. 188. Since 1991 the adult rental center has moved to the large hall of the Clinic "Na Sekyře" (the building of the present district office II), the other parts were moved to the newly reconstructed house No. 114 on Hus´ Square. The town library was ceremoniously opened on February 28, 1841. In 1843, it moved to the house of the burgher Hanslík. Between 1853 and 1854, the library moved twice to the inns in the square.
