My favorite cafe in Prague. It is so quaint and cozy, you can't help but feel happy when you come here. There is also a small outdoor balcony with tables as well as a table or two outside when it's warmer. The coffee here is amazing, and their desserts are scrumptious. Plus, the surrounding area with its small streets and historic buildings puts it in a great location.

This is one the cafes I have in my list and I wanted to go for a long time. I’m glad I wasn’t disappointed. The coffee was very well prepared and I liked that they served a warm cup with it. (It’s not that often) I tried the pumpkin soup which was really tasty. It’s a bit tricky to adapt to the service since the menu is in the entrance wall and you have to get up and see what they offer and then order there or at your table. They could just have a small menu and so there is less confusion. Next time that I will come(and this is something I plan to)it will be ok since I know the place and how they work. But better for the cafe to adapt to the client and not the other way around. Despite everything I totally recommend it and I will be visiting in the future. Update: I visited this cafe today and the service was horrible. The man behind the counter when I asked for a drip said you can get get a batch brew which was not the best. His excuse was that on Sundays they are busy and they don’t offer drip. When me and my friends we got batch brew one of the guys asked for sugar for his coffee. The server basically laughed at his face for that and then brought it and dropped in if front of me with a bad attitude. So maybe next time you can be nicer to people that took 30 minutes trip to come to you cafe so you are rude to them and don’t serve them what you have on your menu. Rating reduced to 3 stars because I think for one bad sever the cafe shouldn’t suffer.

GRUMPY GUY. We come here with my coffee connoisseur girlfriend all the time, since this coffee she likes the best in Prague, but she calls it At the grumpy guy, because of that one dude who works there. It's absolutely gorgeous place with high end coffee, but the service from the barista is a disaster. Just like all the other reviews, he is extremely arrogant and rude. Hates tourists, especially the English speaking ones. When he found out I am Czech, he got way nicer and he was also nice to other Czechs. Kinda racism maybe little bit. The dude is in a worng place. He should be in some hipster coffee place with 5 customers a day, and could discuss different brews in Czech and be happy. Not in a beautiful place where tourists expect to be treated according to the surroundings. Then it just ruins the place for everyone. I am sure he's not happy there either. Very sad thing to see. I hope the owner will figure out a way to solve this issue soon, since I am clearly not alone with this opinion, and they deserve much better ratings based on practically everything else... Edit: today he was not serving us, and it was a big WIN even the place was empty, we found a chairs at the tiny terase outside. I think I saw him though, so maybe they keep him away from the people now?

Very nice, charming cafe located in a quiet street near the castle. Friendly service, very good coffee - I bought a flat white. Hot wine tasted and smelled delicious too.
Water in a beautiful carafe served for free. Nice decor, small flowers, books and several board games for older and younger guests. The restaurant also has a small garden from the other side, I suspect it is as charming as the whole cafe.
Due to the weather, I chose a table inside. We didn't try the food, but I saw it looked very fresh. There was a pleasant coffee aroma in the cafe.I will be happy to come back here for a coffee again.

Great atmosphere and great coffee. You should not miss the toilets, very stylish and pleasant surprise behind the tiny door. ?

Tourist? Don’t come near! Extremely rude and arrogant service from the blonde waiter. As I had came across the reviews I noticed that most of the bad reviews are from tourist, and the good reviews are usually of locals. The complaints are always about the poor service of the waiter. This is the exact experience that I had. The blonde waiter just shouted at me when I came to the cashier to pay for my 2 ice coffee and cakes. I asked “how much?”, and he immediately screamed back at me “would you give me a sec?!” So if you’re a tourist, it is clear that they want only locals to visit their place. Do yourself a favor and move on to the next cafe…if you made the mistake and decided to enter, and you see the blonde waiter there just run for your life or he’ll just ruin your whole day or your entire trip.
