★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 5 stars for the hospitality. Being a vegetarian it’s hard to find good food or even food. Fries are the savior for the all plant eating hooman. To our dismay, hunger stricken - on our way to Hruba Skala, we couldn’t find anything in veg to eat. However, the owner went out of her way to get us some cut veggies along with fries and baked buns to make our own burger. Maybe it was hunger but the “going out of the way” Love made those burgers even yummy. Later we were told they usually have a lot of veggie burger and pizza option but we were unlucky that day. Also check out their ice cream - fresh strawberry and vanilla .. yum yum yum. I don’t like ice cream much but this one - I couldn’t stop.
We were also greeted by friendly cat and dogs. Paw and woof woof.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a gem! We only stopped for some drinks as we eaten elsewhere, but the food served to other nearby sitting customers looked very appetizing. The place was buzzing and appeared to be popular for food by locals. Service was friendly and facilities appeared to be cleaned. In summer, they are small concerts and other performances. Other facilities included a nice playground for small children. There was a tennis court behind the seating area (although not sure what were the arrangements there). Many people were enjoying the small lake just across a local (traffic free) road – many appeared to have used the kiosek’s facility to change. I am looking forward to our next visit hopefully trying some of their dishes.
