The sales women at the ticket office were always very friendly and tried to speak German.
The relocating of the locomotives is very interesting, here we switch from electric to diesel locomotives. Nice old locomotives and cars are used :)

Interesting period railway station building, influenced by Brussels style, from 1959 by architect Josef Danda is exceptionally preserved almost in its original state. The terminal hall is dominated by a literally epic strip of figural sgraffito decoration, created by Václav Matas in the spirit of socialist realism. The station was built as part of the Pilsen-March railway connecting Duchcov, Pilsen and Nýrsko. The building of the station is protected.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nádraží 80.let
A zároveň vzpomínka na ta 80 léta i když méně vyhovující
Proto 3 hvězdy
80s train station
And at the same time a memory of the 80's, though less satisfying
Therefore 3 stars

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just a Czech station to catch the train to Plzeň. It's also the station where you can catch the train for the beautiful ride to Železná Ruda. If you are with a bicycle, you take the bike in the train. That will save you a lot of uphill trouble.
