Nice place. We arrived for a regular pit. The performances of the musicians were good, in some cases excellent. It's a pity that playing long, very similar solos was a bit boring for the audience. Decent beer, friendly service.

We discovered the club during the 24th Kina na Granicy / 24. Kina na hranici. An inconspicuous plaque protruding beyond the façade with the familiar-sounding name of "Dziupla" does not make it easier to reach this shrine. however, when we turned to the side of "Střelniční" - "Strzelnicza" street (our way) we saw a row of boards with historical attractions in Poland. I didn't know one of them, shame! In front of the entrance to the underground, there are a few chairs announcing that something is going on below;) Behind the door we come across a red finished room with a bar, stage and utility rooms. We were there 2x. The first time the bar was crowded, the second time it was already halfway. The men behind the bar were very communicative and spoke Polish without any problems (the guys come from mixed families). The restaurant offers craft beers from the nearby "Albrechtičky Brewery" at prices half the price in Poland and 4 times lower than in Latvia. Great flavors and ideas for beer varieties. By the way, we had the opportunity to listen to a guitar concert as part of BLUES SESSION. Honey to my ears! As for the history of the place: Klub Dziupla is run by the Association of Polish Youth in the Czech Republic (SMP) and has been operating since 2008, but the place and name of the club are much older. The building where Dziupla is located was built as a home for workers who built the Piast hotel in the interwar period. Since the 1960s, this place has housed a club, first as the club of Polish teachers of the Czech Republic, then the youth club "DZIUPLA" at PZKO (Polish Cultural and Educational Association). The author of the name is said to be the poet of Cieszyn, Henryk Jasiczek (1919-1976). In the years 1990-96 the club was run by SMP, later (until 2008) the club functioned as a private tenant's pub, but the name remained the same - DZIUPLA.
