The area in front of the brewery used to be the first - farm - courtyard of the Rataj castle. Until 1940, barns stood in the place of today's park, connected to the brewery by a gate, enclosing this courtyard. The building of today's club and the mentioned gate are, respectively, decorated with sgraffito, similarly to the much older southern wing of the chateau. In front of the abolished gate, a baroque statue of St. Jan Nepomucký, who was moved here from Lednice in Moravia, the center of the Liechtenstein estates, which at that time also included Rataj. The statue has remained in place to this day. Under the brewery, you can get through the hole in the former walls to the local lookout tower or to the adjacent village of Ledečko. Since 2011, there has been a Klub Pivovárek brewery on the premises of the brewery, where concerts, theaters, lectures, celebrations, balls, weddings and entertainment of all kinds are held. Premises can be rented for private events. Thanks to the acoustic layout, the local hall is also suitable for making music recordings. The capacity of the space is up to 150 seats at tables, 200 standing places. The area in front of the brewery was formerly the first - economic - courtyard of the Rataje Chateau. Until 1940 a parcel of sheds were standing in the place of today's park and were connected with the brewery by the gate, closing the courtyard. The building of the club today and the mentioned demolished gate is (and was) decorated with sgraffiti, much like the much older South wing of the castle. In the second half of the 19th century a baroque statue of St. Jan Nepomuk was relocated here from Lednice na Moravě, the center of Liechtenstein's estates including Rataje at that time. The statue still remained in place. Under the brewery you can reach local observation point or nearby village Ledečko via the pierced hole in the former fortified walls. From 2011, the Club Pivovárek exists here, hosting concerts, theaters, lectures, celebrations, balls, weddings and entertainment of all kinds. Spaces can be rented for private events. The club´s space is also suitable for making musical recordings thanks to the acoustic disposition. The capacity of the room is up to 150 seating tables and 200 standing places.
