At that time, it was standing next to his textile factory, surrounded by a garden and mostly meadows around it, the city streets grew up a little later. In 1926, the factory owner Melich sold the villa with the factory to Mr. Ladislav Bednář, among others to the owners of textile factories in Vamberk (the famous Vamberk lace) and factories in Vienna. Mr. Bednář, a factory owner, lived in the villa with his family only during the summer, spending the winter in Prague in his apartment building in Vinohrady. Today you will find a bookstore here, and when I looked at the website, I was even more sorry that I was just walking through the city, and stayed only overnight from Saturday to Sunday. Great local bookstore, where you will be happy to meet everyone. A big plus is the bar where you can buy coffee, lemonade, honey cake, marlenka, etc. It is also worth mentioning the fact that interesting literary events are sometimes held here.

Very nice place. It is not just a bookstore, but also a café. I did not have time for coffee, but rather quickly I managed to pick a gift for a little nephew with the help of a very kind and willing lady who even packaged the book. Only a selection of paper packages could be larger, especially for children. The shop works very well and airy, it is not stuffed with goods to worry about throwing something at every turn.
