★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a surprise you pass sort of dark passage leading to a car wash following the arrow-robot you turn slight left find yourself in a light filled courtyard and infront a low white painted building you open the glass filled door few seconds to adapt to dimness strike and then shelfs and shelfs of cardboard boxes filled with books wow ? where am i and young women and men happy to answer your queries needs whatever
Great books chosen in the peace of ones home and you just take the time and collect

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I found this place by (delightful) mistake, because I am writing something and needed a very specific book. Because I was in Prague for one day only and I am the biggest nerd ever, I went to both their selling points (in Holešovice and in Vysočany) to get it. The people working there all seem really nice and they are very helpful and kind, plus I got to see parts of Prague people usually don't go to and take nice pictures. Point is: support local resellers, vintage bookstores, antikvariáty and all the like! They are special and have all the weird books you might need.
Also, for people who are not from Prague who want to go there, the Knihobot in Vysočany is a bit far from the centre, but tram n. 14 direction Lahovec takes you exactly in front of it. The one in Holešovice is just a nice medium walk away from the center of the town.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was looking for a bookshop in the area and Google Maps suggested Knihobot. It took me some time to find it, but I'm glad I did!
? They offer second-hand books, mostly in Czech but there's also a modest collection of English, German, and other foreign books. The best part? They're all 10 crowns (around 40 euro cents)! And they have the cutest tote bags with their mascot, a bookish robot. How cool is that?
The place is accessible ♿ and they accept cards ? even if you get just one book! (I got two and was worried that the amount would be too little, but the friendly guy behind the counter assured me it's all good!) Really worth a visit!
