Just everything needed for a short stay, 15-20 mins to the old town

Despite what the other comments said; this place was terrible! It might not be like this if you stay for one or two nights tho. I stayed about half a year. Most of the staff did not speak english at all, the others just magically forgot how to speak once you had a problem (no they won't try!). They were absolutely incompetent. If you wanted to complain, they would usually just smile at you and say the same sentence over and over again until you give up. The room had spots on the floor, that I don't even want to know where they came from. Also there were lots of silverfish, which I could never get rid of. Also, they often tend to just enter your room. In case you are just wearing underwear and they knock at your door; there is no time to get dressed, there isn't even time to answer the door, they will just enter and then look at you in confusion. Of course you will not get an answer to why they are here cause they will just be like 'no english, no english'. If you don't already share your room, but there is an empty one next to yours, they will rent it out to people and not even let you know in advance. The person will just suddenly be there and go through all your stuff if you don't lock it away. Also, there is a probability that, if you have theoretically rented that room for some time that they will just tell you to move out earlier without any reason (that last one didnt happen to me, but a colleague of mine. Oh and obvioulsy you can not call them because they won't be able to answer you in english) Oh and make sure that your deposit will be the last rent, otherwise there is a high chance of not getting it back at all. And have I mentioned that you pay extra for spending too much water!? Still, this probably is the best dorm for students in budweiß... sooo good luck and good nerves to all of you.

The Manager, Alena Vopelkova, is a coward!!! Never experienced such a bad handling of customers... Just book somewhere else

Cold, not a cosy place to stay, terrible bad linen and pillows, no soap or towels in the bathroom

Just a horrible dorm! It is noisy most of the time because of the hockeyfield next to it. The staff doesnt speak english, nor do they try to help you if you don't speak czech. People just happen to enter your room without permission... And lots of other stuff

Nice dormitory. The kitchen in each room is not very well equipped though. (Only induction stove). The people in the reception speak english. If you want a balcony you have to ask for it when placing the reservation.

Budget hostel, but there is a lack of payment by credit card, and basic facilities such as iron or stove in rooms. Also there waa a lot if fornalities and receptionist made many mistakes. So that, we need to pay additionally. Rooms, however, were clean and modern.
