Palác Koruna je místem pro příjemné chvíle již od roku 1914
Jedinečný a monumentální Palác Koruna na Václavském náměstí 1 v Praze 1, je význačné dílo české moderní architektury. Ústřední dominantu exteriéru Paláce Koruna představuje věžovitý vrchol stavby, do jehož zakončení byl umístěn atribut ve tvaru koruny vystihující pojmenování paláce. Věž současně zdobí i přísně symetricky rozmístěná trojsoší hmotných postav ve splývavých tógách s kápěmi přes hlavu. Je to alegorické dílo Stanislava Suchardy. Jde o nejkrásnější odkaz čistého secesního slohu.
Palác Koruna se stal díky svým architektonickým hodnotám vyhledávanou kulturní památkou.
Palác Koruna má tři podzemní a sedm nadzemních podlaží. V suterénních prostorách se nachází největší hudební megastore ve střední Evropě, v přízemí a mezaninu pak řada značkových obchodů. Své místo tady mají i restaurace a kavárny, ta v mezaninu s krásnou vyhlídkou na tzv. Zlatý kříž. V horních patrech jsou kanceláře, Pražané a návštěvníci města zde najdou i řadu služeb, včetně ubytovacích.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Aside from a unusual hall with floating umbrellas there is nothing that could get my attention. The toilets are paid, there stores are for snobby rich people and the design of the gallery is pretty boring and bland.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Koruna Cafe is one of the hidden gems of Praha 1, and especially Vaclavak... Their daily menu is one of the best I've found anywhere in this part of Europe, with big portions and freshly made delicious daily offerings. The location is also very nice and relaxed- something you'll wish for after hours of walking around- and the staff is very friendly. I look forward to my next visit!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s a beautiful historical building and when you walk through the passage connecting Vaclavske namesti and Na Prikope street, make sure you don’t forget to look at the ceiling above you. This building is magnificent. It’s a great example of Czech architecture of the beginning of the 20th century. Another piece of the building is visible for the public in Benetton shop where you can see a gorgeous staircase. Apart from the historical part, there are several shops and restaurants located inside. I would recommend Pizza Coloseum or El Emir. Koruna also hosts several brand chains like Benetton or Desigual. But don’t expect to see a proper shopping mall with toilets or information centre - here there are not many shops and all are separate, and main part of the building belongs to the offices.
