About Kost

Really cool place, not the most amazing castle in the country but still a really great visit. It is closed on Mondays like every other castle in Czechia but worth paying for a tour as it has rich history and is quite an interesting place to learn about

Gorgeous castle that can get very busy over the weekends, especially during the summer months. If you have any chance, I recommend you to visit it during the week. Located near highway from Prague to Liberec.

The castle is opened for visit only with a guide, only in Czech language. Still, the person that sells the tickets speaks English and can give you a translated version of the tour. The tour lasts for one hour and you don't get bored during it. Kids and pets are welcomed. While waiting for your tour, you can have a beverage/ some food at the terrace/ restaurant nearby, by the lake.

An interesting place for a short visit. The Kost Castle is unique in the way that it is hidden in the surrounding valley so unlike most other castles you cannot see it from the distance. There are several different tours you can take around the castle, the longest one will take 90 minutes. However, most of the things you will see inside are not original but they are borrowed from somewhere else.

Beautiful and well preserved castle. Very friendly service with multiple language variants so there's no worry that somebody wouldn't understand. Nice view from the castle especially on "Plakankovo udoli,,. There's good amount of tours, one is special - tour with princess which I think would be good with kids. Me with my family really enjoyed it.

Just a few kilometres outside of Prague. Is very nice castle. The entrance is cheap (90 Kč and the tour guide is really interesting) . If you prefer only realx, Don't miss the incredible menu with super grill
