★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kostel Nanebevzetí Panny Marie byl vystavěn v letech 1343 až 1363. Z původní stavby se dochoval presbytář. Poškozen byl, spolu s městečkem, za třicetileté války, opraven byl počátkem 18. století. V letech 1740–50 byla vestavěna kruchta. Roku 1827 zničil Rychnov požár. Ten postihl i kostel, mimo jiné byly zničeny zvony z let 1583 a 1600. K rekonstrukci kostela se váže kamenná deska s křížem a tesařskou sekerou při jižní vnější zdi kostela. Připomíná tragickou smrt tesaře, který zahynul při zdvíhání nového krovu. Věž kostela pochází z roku 1829. Mezi nejstarší součásti výbavy kostela patří cínová křtitelnice z roku 1583 a barokní zpovědnice. Většina zařízení je pseudogotická.
 The Church of the Assumption was built between 1343 and 1363. The presbytery has been preserved from the original building. It was damaged, along with the town, during the Thirty Years' War, repaired at the beginning of the 18th century. In the years 1740–50 a choir was built. In 1827 Rychnov was destroyed by fire. It affected the church, among other things, the bells from 1583 and 1600 were destroyed. It reminds of the tragic death of a carpenter who died while lifting a new roof. The church tower dates from 1829. The oldest parts of the church's equipment include the tin baptismal font from 1583 and the Baroque confessional. Most devices are pseudo-Gothic.
