Kostel je možné prohlédnout pouze přes mříž v jejím vchodu.
Beautiful Catholic church in the corner of the square where you can park and go to church.
The church can only be viewed through the grille in its entrance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gotický kostel narození Panny Marie ve Vodňanech pochází z počátku 14. století. Má 64 metrů vysokou věž, ve které je šest zvonů. Malby v kostele zhotovil Mikoláš Aleš. Současnou podobu získal kostel při přestavbě v roce 1897. V roce 2018 proběhla poslední oprava.
The Gothic Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary in Vodňany dates from the beginning of the 14th century. It has a 64 meter high tower with six bells. The paintings in the church were made by Mikoláš Aleš. The church acquired its current form during the reconstruction in 1897. In 2018, the last repair took place.
