The Baroque church from 1735-1737 dominates the square, the pseudo-baroque reconstruction was carried out at the end of the 19th century. The monument is included in the list of cultural monuments.

Jeho autorem je pravděpodobně architekt Tomáš Vojtěch Budil, autor mnoha lichtenštejnských staveb. V letech 1889 – 1894 byla přistavěna na vstupním západním průčelím hranolová věž. Kostel byl opravován v letech 2008-09 a fasády v letech 2014-15. Kostel spadá pod Římskokatolickou farnost Kostelec nad Černými lesy Kolínského vikariátu a konají se zde pravidelné bohoslužby. The Baroque parish church was built on the main church square between 1735 and 1937. Its author is probably architect Tomáš Vojtěch Budil, the author of many buildings in Liechtenstein. A prismatic tower was added to the entrance west facade between 1889 and 1894. The church was repaired in 2008-09 and facades in 2014-15. The church falls under the Roman Catholic parish of Kostelec nad Černými lesy of Kolínský vicariate, and there are regular worship services. The one-nave Baroque parish church was built on the main square in Kostelec between 1735 and 37. It is probably designed by architect Tomáš Vojtěch Budil, author of many Liechtenstein buildings. I have lived in Kostelec nad Černými lesy for more than fifty years, I have experienced good and bad, but the city is getting nicer, a beautiful chateau, although not accessible, but it will be replaced by a chapel where lots of events are held. and see my photos for now!

You may look inside if you are on the central square, but otherwise not worth it visiting. Of course, it's important place of faith for the few locals who are still Catholics.
