Church of St. Bartholomew with the coat of arms of the Rottals above the entrance .. It is not always possible to believe everything that wikipedia or tourist guides present to us. In them, it is stated, apparently in the texts adopted in chain, that the builder of the church in 1710-1712 was Adam Jáchym of Rottal. Which is hard to believe in his then two to four years of age. After Jan of Rottal (1605-1674), the descendant of his uncle Vilém, Julius Vilém of Rottal, became the owner of the Napajedla estate. In his will in 1691, Julius William of Rottal (1637-1691) bequeathed the Moravian estates to Francis William Helfried (1683-1709). He took over his inheritance only after reaching the age of majority in 1702. At the beginning of February 1706 he married Countess Maria Anna Markéta of Herberštejn and in 1708 their son Adam Jáchym (1708-1746) was born. František Vilém Helfried from Rottal was the initiator of the construction of the church, but the construction was not completed. He died on November 19, 1970 and was buried in Holešov. The construction of the church began in the years 1710-1712 and was probably completed under the care of his wife Anna Markéta, under the pastor Alexei Březina in 1720. It was not consecrated until 1741 by the Bishop of Olomouc, Jan Arnošt. Perhaps that is why the construction of the church today is associated with Adam Jáchym of Rottal (1708-1746), at that time the owner of the Kvasice and Napajedla estates. From the original church standing below, the front statues of St. Peter and Paul, or the Renaissance tombstones of Bedřich and Bartholomew of Žerotín from 1568. Marie Anna Markéta, born in Herberštejn, married for the second time on September 19, 1720 to Count Jan František Gottfried of Dietrichstein. The son of Adam Jáchym of Rottal (1708-1746), after reaching the age of majority, took over the manors of Napajedla, Zlín and Kvasice in 1729. Its main seat became the Kvasice chateau.
