P	Petr Koldovský on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gotický kostel sv. Jana Křtitele v Manětíně byl založen ve 14. století na místě původní Johanitské svatyně z 12. století. Po požáru města byl v roce 1717 barokně přestavěn. Gothic church of St. John the Baptist in Manětín was founded in the 14th century on the site of the original Johanitská shrine from the 12th century. After the town fire, it was rebuilt in the Baroque style in 1717.
J	Jiří Pešík on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do exteriéru i interiéru kostela bylo v poslední investováno, je tedy v dobrém stavu a určitě stojí za návštěvu. Byla mimo jiné vyměněna podlaha. Dříve byly v kostele typické socialistické dlaždice, není je tam opět kamenná dlažba. Za vidění stojí Manětínské paládium, tedy stříbrem vyšitý obraz, který byl před velkým požárem Manětína (r. 1712) umístěn na faře a údajně faru zachránil před vyhořením. Dále jsou tam ostatky dvou svatých. The exterior and interior of the church were recently invested, so it is in good condition and definitely worth a visit. Among other things, the floor was replaced. There used to be typical socialist tiles in the church, there are no stone tiles again. Worth seeing is the Manětín Palladium, a silver embroidered painting that was placed on the parish before the great fire of Manětín (1712) and allegedly saved the rectory from burning down. Then there are the remains of two saints.

Zvenku i uvnitř pěkné piskovcové sochy (pravděpodobně kopie, originály od M.B.Brauna). Farnost inzeruje bohoslužby u vchodu (Viz foto) Reconstruction is underway inside the church, so you cannot see the altar. But the church is very interesting, it has an overground passage to the adjacent castle. Outside and inside a nice sandstone statue (probably copies, originals by M. B. Braun). Parish advertises worship at the entrance (See photo)
J	Jan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eine Besonderheit kennzeichnet die Dekanatskirche Johannes des Täufers (kostel sv. Jana Křtitele), die rechts vor der Hauptfront von Schloss Manetin steht. Sie ist nämlich durch einen überdachten Gang über der Straße mit dem Schloss verbunden. In dem gotisches Bauwerk finden sich Gemälde von Peter Johann Brandl. Im Sommer finden hier ab und zu Konzerte statt; tolle Akustik. A special feature is the deanery church of John the Baptist (kostel sv. Jana Křtitele), which stands right in front of the main front of Manetin Castle. It is connected to the castle by a covered walkway over the street. The Gothic building contains paintings by Peter Johann Brandl. In the summer here and now take place concerts; great acoustics.
