★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Římskokatolický kostel Povýšení svatého Kříže. To je správný název. Na Google mapách je zkrácen, patrně pro úsporu místa.
Je to barokní stavba, která byla realizována jako přestavba (původního zde stojícího kostela) a současně dostavba takříkajíc v novotě.
Nebýt řeky Svratky a častých záplav, kterými obdařovala kraj, tak by žádný kostel nebyl. Jenže díky vysoké vodě byl znemožněn přístup
do klášterního kostela sv. Petra a Pavla v místním benediktinském opatství. Ten zároveň sloužil jako farní kostel.
A když už se nový kostel měl stavět, tak jej musel vyprojektovat někdo zvučného jména. A ten někdo byl údajně sám veliký geniální český architekt Santini. Prý. Proč prý? Protože podle legend měl nakreslit plány tolika kostelů a jiných staveb, že by to za jeden život nešlo stihnout.

It is a Baroque building, which was realized as a reconstruction (of the original church standing here) and at the same time the completion, so to speak, in a novelty.
Were it not for the Svratka River and the frequent floods that the region endowed with, there would have been no church. But due to the high water, access was denied
to the monastery church of St. Peter and Paul in the local Benedictine abbey. It also served as a parish church.
And when the new church was to be built, it had to be designed by someone with a resounding name. And that someone was allegedly the great brilliant Czech architect Santini himself. Supposedly. Why supposedly? Because according to legends, he had to draw plans for so many churches and other buildings that it would not be possible in one lifetime.
